Utuniarsuak Avike is an old Eskimo. At 87 years old, he has quit hunting and risking his life in adventures. From the hut where he lives, he watches the collapse of his peopleÌs culture. Though his language is now spoken by no more than three hundred people, the old hunter is not embittered. He has a mischievous sense of humour, and is a unique fellow.
DIRECTOR
William Long was born in Australia but now lives and works in Sweden. Vision man is his second film after Return to the light. He has worked as cameraman in Great Britain and the US.
