Chamonix at the end of 1930s. After an accident in which Joseph Servettaz, one of the greatest alpine guides, was killed, Bianca, the daughter of an industrialist who survived the accident, feels a sense of guilt because of another accident that involved the son of Servettaz, Zian, while he was trying to recover his fatherĖs body. Though the two are in love, they are separated by the war and prejudices. But the mountain that had separated them, brings them back together again.
Edouard Niermans is an important French producer and has directed PoussiĀre d'ange (1987), Le retour de Casanova (1992), L'enfant des terres blondes (1996). Pierre-Antoine Hiroz is a Swiss filmmaker and alpine guide. Among his films, Seo!, Erebus, Le combat des reines.
