ANNI PER LA MONTAGNA
Mountain Film Retrospective by RAIVd'A

The Cervino International Film festival has slowly
made itself known in the past years in the panorama of mountain film festivals and it has
been marked by its new formula which has made it become an original point of reference.
The presentation of the prize-winning films from the various festivals enables it to have
a panoramic view, at both a national and international level, of mountain cinematographic
productions.
For 25 years, the television programming of 'Rai Sede
Regionale per la Valle d'Aosta' has developed the theme of mountains; in fact, it started
the activity in the alpine region in December 1979.
And therefore, it is with pleasure that we
participate in the seventh edition of the Cervino International Film Festival where we
will present a retrospective of our film and documentary productions which have also
echoed across regional boundaries, with recommendations and acknowledgements within the
film review sector.
During the four evenings: "souvenirs",
"exploits", "non solo Alpi" and "storia", a selection of
films will be presented starting from 1986 with "Quei giorni sul Bianco" by
Nazareno Marinoni which commemorates the birth of mountaineering and concluding with
"Una ciliegina sulla torta" by Giorgio Squarzino, finishing with a climb of the
Peuterey Integral in 24 hours, produced in 2000 and paying homage to Cervinia, one of the
most renowned winter resorts and truly a "pearl of the Alps", with vintage
images, and collected stories and testimonies by Carlo Rossi.
