An Algerian with an artificial leg is stopped at the Swiss frontier while he is trying to cross the border with a group of refugees. During the early hours of dawn, the border police immediately send him back to Germany, but in his haste he forgets his prosthesis. His leg is found at customs in Switzerland but the custom officials do nothing for him and above all, they are prepared to take no responsibility.

DIRECTOR
Rolando Colla was born in Sciaffusa in 1957. He moved to Zurich in 1977 with his family where he studied languages at university. Later he started working in cinema as a scriptwriter, film director and producer. Two of his short films, "Einspruch" and "Einspruch II" have been nominated in numerous international festivals. He produced the film "Oltre il Confine" in 2002. At present he is working on a new film, "L’altra meta".
