Material filmed at the beginning of the century with re-editing carried out in the 20s by two Turin production houses, la Pasquali & C. and la Tiziano Film. Pasquali's short film bears the title "Nella Svizzera Italiana", while Tiziano's piece is, "Dal Verbano alla Svizzera attraverso il Gottardo" also including "Piero Marelli's photography". Both films dwell on Verbano and Southern Switzerland's panaromas, with border violation at Berna, Ginevra, Interlaken, until Grunewald's suspended funicular railway. Recovered by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema of Turin and is being previewed for the very first time at the Cervino International Film Festival.
