Stefan Glowacz, climbing instructor and Rob Wittal, twice world paragliding champion, meet on the slopes of Sella, in the Dolomites. The two men decide to challenge each other: the winner is the first athlete to reach the top. An original duel begins, streaked by an undisputable irony.

DIRECTOR
Uli Wiesmeier has been a professional photographer for twenty-five years: the mountains are his preferred subject and his images can always be found in specialised magazines and books. Weismeier has been a climber since the age of thirteen. The 1992 World Champion in paragliding; he began his film-making activities in 1996 with "Escape". The idea of "The Race" arose in Wiesmeier's childhood.
