Produced by the Italian Alpine Club for the International Year of Mountains, the film describes the experience of Alpiteam, a Lombard school of Alpinism, leading a course for people from the Arca di Como drug-addicted Rehabilitation Centre. Through the narration of both youths and operators who took part in this project, we can understand that mountain can help people find new life perspectives. Happy moments, as well as difficult situations in deep contact with nature, are very important to prepare these young people for a new normal life.

DIRECTOR
Born in Lecco in 1949, Pino Brambilla attended scientific schools and engineering university. Since 1987 he has been working in audiovisual communication. He directed a great number of documentaries for companies, public bodies and different associations. At the moment he is working on multimedia digital works. He is the vice-president Central Film Commission of the Italian Alpine Club.
