In May 2002 four Quebec inhabitants decided to climb the north Everest’s mountainside without oxygen bottles and without the aid of Sherpas, facing an unforgettable challenge against the roof of the world. Un Everest de l’interieur makes the audience feel the moments of the expeditions together with the protagonists, carried away by a wind of emotions. To report this adventure, the camera enters the inwardness their feelings to reveal the passions and tensions which encourage and thwart them.

DIRECTORS
Filmmaker and director, Claude-André Nadon developed a great passion for documentaries. Un Everest de l’interieur is his first film in collaboration with Sylvie Van Brabant. They shared their experiences, their knowledge of people and mountain, as well as their passion for travelling and cinema, in order to propose a particular vision of the Everest.

Sylvie Van Brabant, producer and director, is one of the founding member of the movement Naissance-Renaissance. Since two years she has become a midwife, but keeps on directing and producing films.
