The excellent four-hour production of Shackleton, starring Kenneth Branagh as Ernest Shackleton, was a new and dangerous experience for the actors and the small crew. This movie reports the period and the locations where the film was made, in Greenland and elsewhere. The passion of both the actors and the crew for the locations and situations they found themselves in contributed to the realism and authenticity of the final product.
