The Stura valley lies in the South of Piedmont, very near to France. Every year in Vinadio takes place the “Fiera dei Santi”, where shepherds meet each other after a summer spent in the mountains. On this occasion, the animals that best fit the characteristics of the sambucan sheep are awarded.

DIRECTOR
Sandro Gastinelli was born in Cuneo in 1968. He founded in 1990 a production company, the “Studiouno Produzioni televisive”. He has always dedicated his works on the research carried out on the territory. He directed in 1996 Parla di Kyè, a nature documentary which was awarded at many Film Festivals. With his Mari, Monti e…gettoni d’oro he won different prices at Les Diablerets Film Festival and at the Autrans Film Festival
