The story of Alberto Iñurrategi and Jean Christophe Lafaille during their climb along the east ridge to the top of Annapurna, the famous Himalayan mountain. The second complete ascent along the ridge was digitally recorded and narrated in flashback. This film aims to describe the tension the two alpinists experienced in a tent at 7,800 metres before the attack on the Annapurna peak. For Iñurrategi it was the fourteenth 8,000m peak conquered. The film is dedicated to Alberto’s brother, Felix, who died during the descent of the GI.

DIRECTOR
Director of the television series Oinak Izarretanof the Euskal Telebista begun in 2000. These are documentaries on climbing and alpinism realised during an endless number of expeditions around the world. The result is a various panorama of different settings and scenarios: from the 8,000m peaks to the Sahara Desert, to nature parks like Yosemite and glories like Petra in Jordan. At the moment Alberto is involved in the production of the last documentaries based on the expeditions to Kenya and Tanzania and the ascent to the Cho-Oyu in winter.
