ROBERT FULTON'S PILOT NOTES
USA 2000, 28', col., video
Director: Vladimir Van Maule
Script: Robert Fulton, Vladimir Van Maule
Cameraman: Robert Fulton, Vladimir Van Maule
Editing: Vladimir Van Maule
Music: Jaquin Bello
Production: Filmontage Productions

By all accounts, it was a munumental task: a pilot/cameraman in a single engine aircraft to film aerials across South America. A year later, legendary aerial photographer Robert Fulton has flown over just about every peak, river, glacier, volcano and jungle of the Andes. At times suggestive of the writings of Saint-Exupéry's aviator days in Patagonia, this is a film that goes to the heart and muscle of flight and photography. Each drop of fuel, each inch of celluloid, and every knot of wind becoming part of the calculus…and the Andes under our feet…
