TROIS
FRÈRES POUR UNE VIE
TRE FRATELLI PER UNA VITA
THREE BROTHERS FOR A LIFE
Gilles Perret, France, 1999, 52, col, videoA true story, a story about mountain people confronted - in times of
changes - with difficult choices.
In 1972 the Bertrand brothers decided to put all their
efforts into a model farm situated in a small village in the Haute Savoie. The three work
hard and are successful. Their farm is equipped with all the necessary machinery and they
can produce a good product.
Thirty years later, their financial success is unarguable,
but on a personal and human level, the situation is rather sad. |
