MICHEL DE WOUTERS was born in 1956. A producer of documentaries and commercial films, he founded his own company in 1992. Antarctica.org, his most recent work, won the Grand Prix at the last the Trento Festival.

The documentary, filmed mainly by Alain Hubert and Dixie Dansercoer themselves, takes us across the frozen wastes of the Antarctica in a 2,400-mile adventure.

Following the usual preparations for the expedition, various checks and approach routes, the long journey on foot begins on skis and, weather permitting, power kites; it lasts 99 days, in an extreme environment and the scenes faithfully reflect the inner thoughts of the two explorers during the various difficulties encountered.
